Daily Angst: Itty bitty job search

Another friend/business contact mentioned the possibility, sometime in the future, of maybe perhaps it-just-might-happen having an editorial position for me that would be quite thoroughly spectacular; so I know I should cool my heels, work on my freelance projects, enjoying getting to read and report on manuscripts and potential import titles and proofread galleys and copyedit hapless authors and all that other good stuff that means I don't have to do drudgework HTML and spreadsheets unless I want to; and take this time to tend to things in Austin; and have patience. But it would have been nice to get a little validation after applying to so many jobs and not getting called for interviews. Maybe they sense from a distance that I don't have a good suit....
