Gallery: SPQR Gallery: one-minute sketch

This is, er, Helvius's sister, who will appear in the next chapter when... oh, nah, I'm just vamping. This is a sketch of up-and-coming fantasy author Alaya Johnson, drawn during World Fantasy Convention the first week of November in Saratoga Springs, NY, and, if I recall correctly, under the influence of sour apple-tinis and snickerdoodles courtesy of Peeps author Scott Westerfeld. Everyone should read Peeps. You'll never look at your cat the same way again.

Alaya has lovely hair, even if, so I hear, Firebird editor Sharyn November's was declared the most spectacular mane at the convention.
