About: SPQR Update
The drawing to the right is of a falcon that perched outside my window the other day at work.
I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't get out of bed this morning until I finished at least the pencils for the next installment. It might not sound like such a hardship, lying in bed in the sunny morning light with illustration board and pencils. But there are things a lady needs to do in the morning... like... uhm... putting on makeup and curling her hair, that sort of thing, yeah.
In any case, I did finish the pencils. The great thing about not having a lot of dialogue is not having to do all that lettering. The bad thing about it is not having dialogue to cover up all the parts of the picture you just don't feel like drawing.
The next promise: no sleep for me until the inking is done. I am determined. Grrr.
