Gallery: Emperor's ball

I belong to a round-robin group that has been together, with various members, for nearly a dozen years now and has produced thousands of pages of ongoing storyline. At its best, it's great way to make sure we write something every single day, keeping the mental creative channels open for our individual projects. It's our own private soap opera with sub-light space travel, aliens, guns, gladiators, elves, and evil twins.

I promised to post a chapter Friday night but couldn't muster it, so I made an attempt to distract my fellow writers with a goofy drawing.

It probably won't make too much sense to anyone else, but I'm counting it toward the 10,000, so here it is.
